Family Film Event: Microplastic Madness

también con subtítulos en español

There were two ways to participate: In-person or virtual viewing

Our community joined us at Toby’s Playground in Point Reyes Station to view an award-winning documentary film by Cafeteria Culture on a plastic free impact campaign with kids taking the lead!
Nuestra comunidad se unió a nosotros para ver el documental ganador de premios de Cafetería Culture sobre una campaña de impacto sin plástico creada por niños.

This film was made about a group of 5th grade students at P.S. 15 in Brooklyn, NY, who identified a problem in their community, and then developed and implemented an action plan to address the problem that is inspiring, educational, and thought (and action) provoking. The film also features experts, Judith Enck, Marcus Eriksen, Racheal Z. Miller, and Chelsea M. Rochman.

Our live event featured an introductions by Debby Lee Cohen (co-creator of the film).

Participants enjoyed a picnic dinner and complimentary pizza.

And many other community members watched the film virtually, at home.

We are grateful for our co-sponsors:
Cafeteria Culture, Marin County Parks and Open Space, Marin County Free Library, West Marin Community Services, Zero Waste Marin, Cafe Reyes, Recology Sonoma Marin
